Jiangsu Kuangda Automobile Textile Group Co., Ltd., established in 1990, lies in Changzhou City of Jiangsu Province at the Yangtze Delta, being closing to Yangtze River in the north and Taihu Lake in the south. It is a manufacturing enterprise specialized in providing the seat interior decorative fabric for automobiles and other transportation vehicles, a national key high-tech enterprise, and an excellent privately-owned enterprise in Jiangsu Province. Kuangda has the total assets of RMB 0.52 billion yuan and the 1,000 employees, including over 320 medium and high level engineers and technicians of all classes.
Kuangda has imported more than 300 sets of the world-class production facilities for dye printing, spinning and post treatment etc. depending on the sustainable technological innovation and regarding the “ High Starting Point, Large-scale Production and Specialization” advocated by the automobile part industry of China as the development policy. With the yearly production of 30 million m2 seat interior decorative fabric for various automobiles, it has become a specialized automobile seat interior decorative fabric production base with the largest scale, the most complete varieties an the strongest production capacity in China, and has established the selling sub-companies in Changchun, Shanghai, Wuhan, Tianjin and Guangzhou etc.
Kuangda’s main products include many series of automobile seat interior decorative fabrics, such as big jacquard weave and small jacquard weave, wrap knitting double needle bar, KS single needle bar, weft knitting velour, large and small stacked-rapier jacquard weave etc. which can be used for the interior decorations of seat, roof, curb kerb, door plank, pillow and handrails and other component of vehicles. At present, its mainly support automobile manufacturers are FAW_VOLKSWAGEN, Shanghai VOLKSWAGEN, Shanghai GM, Dongfeng Nissan, SOUTHEAST, SOUTH ASIA, TRANSIT, Changan Ford, Zhengzhou Yutong, Xiamen Golden Dragon, Liuzhou Wuling, and Hafei Automobile etc., of which the domestic automobile type accounts for over 40%.
When taking “ Automobile Seat Interior Decorative Fabric” as the development core, Kuangda actively expands toward its upstream and downstream supported product industries, and has established the auxiliary enterprises of chemical fiber, sponge, dyeing and finishing, and automobile seat cover etc. and formed a complete industrial chain from the yarn production to the processing of the automobile seat cover.
